So, this first one is a neat little article from a few months ago about a restaurant chain putting iPads all around their tables. My group has been throwing around the idea of using boarding passes as a way to quickly identify passengers, and it's nice to see that it's not too far out of an idea (because people are already doing it): http://www.theverge.com/2014/11/20/7254931/how-ipads-are-making-airports-less-miserable-places
The second piece I found is relating to airport security. Up until now my group had mostly been thinking about how to make the airport experience quicker and easier for staff and travellers, but after reading this little document on modern airport security, it got me thinking about how enhancing overall airport security would be great for everyone (even though the passengers might not notice). This document gives a quick overview of modern airport security, which is great for thinking about creative new ways to enhance airport security: www.frost.com/prod/servlet/cio/244644426 (Clicking this link downloads the PDF)
